Thriving at Work: A Team-Based Approach to Health and Wellness
Did you know that Americans spend about one-third of their lives at work—roughly 90,000 hours? The habits we develop in the workplace have a profound impact on our overall well-being. Recognizing this, many organizations are now embracing opportunities to foster healthier mindsets and lifestyles on the job.
One example is the Upper Explorerland Regional Planning Commission (UERPC), an Economic Development District serving five counties in Northeast Iowa. UERPC has created a highly successful health and wellness program focused on enhancing the mental, physical, financial, and social well-being of its staff.
Join the NADO Research Foundation and UERPC Executive Director Rachelle Howe on January 22 for a webinar hosted through the EDD Community of Practice. Discover actionable strategies to implement similar wellness initiatives in your organization and community. Come ready to share your questions and ideas as we work together to build healthier, more supportive workplaces for staff at EDDs nationwide. Contact Brett Schwartz at [email protected] for more information.
This webinar is offered through the Economic Development District Community of Practice (EDD CoP), managed by the NADO Research Foundation and made possible through an award from the U.S. Economic Development Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce.
